Gülermak has once again been selected to implement a strategic and technically demanding infrastructure project in Poland! As of November 13, 2024, with our partner Budimex, we signed a design and build contract with Polish General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for S19 expressway – section Jawornik-Lutcza. With this contract, Gülermak not only consolidated its 15-year presence in the Polish market, but also proved its unique capabilities once again. Within the scope of the project, the Via Carpatia route will be crossed over the national road between Jawornik and Lutcza by an overpass of approximately 780 m on pylons up to 36 m high. The overpass will turn into a two-aisle tunnel of more than 2.5 km under the Kamieniec mountain. The project includes the construction of a two-lane motorway section of approximately 5.2 km in length, with two lanes in each direction and an emergency lane. Engineering structures will also be built along the main route, including a bridge that serves as a passage for small animals.
